It’s no secret that the number of U.S. metalcasting facilities has been shrinking. This has been the result of several causes we won’t go into here, but the phenomenon means a couple of things. The facilities that are left are generally pretty good. Their sound business principles and good casting capabilities have helped them survive the downsizing of the industry. Secondly, fewer metalcasting facilities mean finding a place with capacity is much harder.

ECS prints a metalcasting yellow pages of sorts each year listing all the North American metalcasting facilities. Now we’ve developed an interactive online tool to search for a metalcaster online. The directory of metalcasters allows you to search by company name, casting process, alloy, casting weight and location. Have a look, list it under your favorites and narrow down your casting supplier search in a few minutes.
